Located in Clarke County, Virginia (near Millwood), Long Branch is one of the most historic and elegant ante-bellum mansions in the lower Shenandoah Valley. Built in 1811, Long Branch became a major provider of wheat for the region and beyond. Subsequently it also  became well known for its herd of thoroughbred horses. Today, the mansion is still magnificent, its barns are stunning and the views of the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains and nearby Shenandoah River are spectacular. Equally noteworthy, Long Branch continues its equestrian tradition with over 80 horses grazing in the adjoining pastures. Welcome to Long Branch and to Virginia’s Hunt Country.
